A Night’s Dream is an album that tells the story of Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream. The music tells the story chronologically through a wide range of different genres: Pop, folk, rock, hip-hop, jazz, reggae, the project aims to tell the story of Shakespeare in a unique way. The project will be a collection of three albums (split into vol.1, vol.2 and vol.3), each album containing seven tracks.

The idea for the album began with my participation with the Birmingham REP Theatre. The Young REP: The Company put on two shows of Shakespeare on the main stage of the REP Theatre: Twelfth Night and A Midsummer Night's Dream. For the latter, I had composed three pieces of music for it, and another member of the group had written a song that was also included in the production. Afterwards this production was very successful, I thought to myself to archive this music in the most creative way possible - creating an album, and new music, that would help to tell the Shakespeare classic through a whole new innovative experience.
